bookhampton

Yesterday, we went to one of my favorite places in all the Hamptons...
BookHampton in Sag Harbor!

Greg invariably knows every book I've read, wanted to read,
or should read.
He always remembers L
and knows his interests and has recommendations for him
as well.
Today, we bought:

L's required summer reading.

We also bought:

This is one of my favorite, favorite books ever.
This is also summer reading for L.
I'm so excited.
I loved this book and hope he will, too.
I've also promised that we could watch
the R-rated movie when he finishes the book.
I thought it was one of the best adaptations of
a book I've ever seen.

L bought The Stand by Stephen King.
I'm not sure if it's appropriate,
but he has always been such a huge reader
and is now in a dry spell - I'm just trying
to get him re-engaged.

I'm a big Dean Koontz fan
and Greg recommended
The Cypress House
by Michael Koryta.
I'm looking forward to reading it.

He also recommended
The Prince of Mist
by Carlos Ruiz Zafon for L.
I love, love, loved The Shadow of the Wind
by Zafon.
I hope L likes this young adult
book by such an outstanding
international author.

Yes, I am Still reading
The Art of Racing in the Rain.
I love it!
I'm just taking for-evah!
I used to be a book a day reader,
but sadly, kids and a laptop
have limited my actual reading time.
I will do better,
I will.
